Yes. When iCloud is enabled, PalStream syncs your playlists, favorites, watch history, resume positions, and parental control settings across all your Apple devices automatically. Start watching on your iPhone, pick up on your Mac, and finish on your Apple TV — seamlessly.
Absolutely. PalStream automatically saves your playback position for every movie, episode, and live channel. With iCloud sync, your resume positions are available across all your devices. If you use Trakt, resume positions from other Trakt-enabled apps (like Stremio or Infuse) also sync to PalStream.
Trakt is a platform that tracks your viewing habits across multiple apps and services. When connected, PalStream will scrobble (record) your watches to Trakt, sync your watch history bi-directionally, and show what you've been watching across all your Trakt-connected apps. Authentication is done securely via the device-code OAuth flow — no password entry required.
PalStream's parental controls let you protect specific content with a passcode. You can hide individual movies, series, or channels, and lock categories. On iPhone, iPad, and Mac, you can unlock protected content with Face ID or Touch ID for convenience. On Apple TV, a numeric passcode is used. Hidden content is completely invisible until unlocked.
Yes. PalStream integrates with OpenSubtitles, allowing you to search for and download subtitles in dozens of languages. You can customize subtitle appearance including font, size, color, and position. The app also supports embedded subtitles that come with your streams.
Incognito Mode lets you browse and watch content without recording any history. When enabled, PalStream won't save watch history, search suggestions, or update the Top Shelf on Apple TV. It's perfect for when you want private viewing without affecting your recommendations or resume positions.
PalStream offers two playback engines that you can switch between at runtime: KSPlayer (built on Apple's AVPlayer for native performance) and VLCKit (based on the VLC engine for broad format compatibility).
